GIOVANNA PAOLA GIRARDI
Giovanna Girardi is a lawyer specializing in business law, intellectual property and data protection. She has a private practice in Madrid and clients hire her to build strategies to protect their designs, patents and trademarks and also profit from them. Giovanna also lectures at various business schools Geneva Business School, EAE, Garrigues and collaborates in global and European projects – such as the INTA’s Unreal Campaign and the EU commission initiative “Latin America IPR SME helpdesk” to raise awareness of intellectual property rights as a competitive tool for SMEs. In 2017, she participated in an ambitious project for the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to help harmonise practices within the network of European Union Intellectual Property Offices.
